 I've been nicelly surprised after discovering that a new Quickr 8.5 Administration book is about to be published. It's expected for January 2011.

It will arrive at the bookshops at the same time than Mastering XPages.

Who this book is written for

This is a step-by-step manual for System Administrators and Business Analysts who need to facilitate the effective and efficient performance of diverse teams in an interconnected world. It can also be read by Management to gain a high-level understanding of the new features and capabilities offered by the product. You don't require any knowledge of IBM Lotus Quickr 8.5. This book will teach you everything you need to know.

Hey, I haven't even seen the cover yet for my book.

Thanks for finding this.

It is supposed to be published before Lotusphere but that is all I know.

Thanks for pointing this out. I have added it to the Virtual Bookstore in the Lotusphere Sessions DB. It is harder than you might think to find a good list of existing and upcoming books on Notes, Sametime, Quickr, Connections, etc. Do you happen to know of any more? (I have the Mastering XPages book already.)

@1 Keith, I'm sure is going to be a good resource for my tool box.

@2 You are right Ben, not many Lotus books around. The only ones I've seen lately are from Packt https://www.packtpub.com/books/ibm and from IBM Press { Link }

Maybe there could be more in German language, but I'm not aware. :-)
